So, I made the switch from Windows 7 (which I have no problems with, just wanted a change in pace for now, to Ubuntu 10.10.  I think the last version of Ubuntu I tried was 10.04, and it was complete shit in my opinion.  So far, I’m loving it.  No matter what I’m doing it feels like I’m being productive on this machine now, even if I’m just killing time and doing nothing like I normally do on the computer.

  One upside to this though, is that by the way things are looking it’s got me inspired to learn some coding languages. Self taught of course, because in my mind that’s the best way to do things.
